Add a Customer Asset Form¶
This form adds assets to the database for linking service calls as well as system data. Most service calls require the completion of this form when it is a first visit to the site which will use the "n/a" place holder until a technician can capture an image of the serial number in the Slack service call. After the serial number image is captured the asset data can be completed.
Link to Site¶
This field associates an asset to a physical location. This field links to the site information in Airtable. If the location isn't in Airtable it must be added with the Add a Site Location form. Select the location of the asset here.
Asset SN¶
The asset serial number can be in a number of locations depending on the equipment manufacturer.
GE Magnet Serial Number¶
The GE magnet serial number is located on a sticker on top of the recondensor pictured below. If this sticker is missing there is a data plate locate on the front of the magnet which requires removing the covers to access.
System Type ID¶
The goal for this field is to record the exact system name, e.g. "Artist", or "Symphony". If this is unknown the base place holder is mfg + magnet type, e.g. GE4K, IGC10K.
Form Factor¶
Form factor is used to prepare for servicing an asset. If a magnet is located in a mobile trailer the preparation for service is different that if the magnet is located in a fixed site.
Host IP Address¶
When installing the Zeromonitor remote monitoring systems, it is necessary to have the host IP address for Philips systems in order to read the helium level on the magnet. If this can be captured before hand record it here.
Internet Connection Type¶
This information is needed for the installation of Zeromonitor remote monitor devices. The device requires internet connectivity and this field informs the technicians or admins on how to perform the installation as well as how to troubleshoot issues that may arise with the site.
